Green Mountain Spinnery is a worker/owner cooperative. All the fibers used to make their yarns are grown in the United States. The 100% wool yarns are spun entirely from New England fleece. Unlike most commercial mills, The Green Mountain Spinnery uses no chemicals to bleach, mothproof or shrink-proof yarns.
