our staff

We have, between us, over 170 years of experience. More than half our staff have been with us for 11 years or more and even our "new guy" has been here for almost 6 years. A number of our staff were recruited from other copy centers  (no surprise there). Being a member of a collective, where your contribution is valued and your decisions matter, engenders a high degree of loyalty and commitment.

The value to our customers is that no one here is just filling in or marking time — we know our stuff. Each piece of equipment in the shops was researched and purchased with the full input and participation of the staff. We hammer out everything from prices to products as a team devoted to this community, this business, its history, its future and to one another.

Work isn't everything though. We count among us a number of artists, writers, authors, photographers, musicians and even an historian; we're straight, lesbian and gay; we're parents and not; we're single and long-married. One of us is even a Grandpa.
